The 14-storey, Eastgate House in Cardiff has recently been refurbished to provide flexible office accommodation and the £2m investment was made by the owner of the nearly 100,000 sq ft building, specialist real estate investment firm, Maya Capital.
Externally, the existing brickwork was completely rendered with StoRend FibrePlus, a high quality render system from Sto Ltd, featuring a fibre-reinforced levelling coat, combined with a tough, flexible reinforcing mesh to provide exceptional levels of crack resistance. The final finish was StoSilco K2.0 decorative, through-coloured silicone resin-based render, with advanced water shedding capabilities, making it resistant to algae growth.
Maya Capital’s multi-million pound refurbishment of the property, overseen by the Cardiff office of Jones Hargreaves, has totally transformed the building into a high quality, first class office building.
