Glasnevin Museum

Designed by A&D Wejchert & Partners, the Glasnevin Museum makes extensive use of StoSilent Acoustic panels to maintain an atmosphere of tranquillity.

Integral to the design of the two-storey museum are the sweeping curves that hug the borders of the Glasnevin Cemetery. These curves caused a technical challenge for the designers who required an acoustic solution in the restaurant, exhibition and lecture areas.

The solution was provided by the seamless StoSilent Panel system, installed by specialist applicator Errigal Group. Easily accommodating the dynamic curves, the seamless system also offers beautiful, monolithic expanses of up to 200m² or 20m in length. The resultant acoustic enhancement achieves the contemplative atmosphere required in this memorial building.
