StoLotusan Color is a "self-cleaning" paint for masonry substrates. Rainwater washes the facade due to the unique microstructure of the paint, which incorporates the Lotus-Effect®.

Product benefits

  • Prolonged good looks
  • Surfaces remain clean and dry for longer
  • Extends refurbishment cycles
  • Minimises maintenance costs
  • Less interference with residents/tenants
  • Maximises the value of your property long term

Common questions

Doesn't rain wash dirt off any surface?

No. Standard masonry paints allow water to sit on the surface. Dirt combines with the water to create a fertile habitat for algae, fungus and bacteria.

Why is StoLotusan Color better than standard masonry paint?

Due to the Lotus-Effect®, water and dirt cannot grip the surface of the wall. Water simply rolls off, carrying any loose dirt on the surface with it. The wall remains dry, dirt free and algae is unlikely to form.

StoLotusan Color sounds expensive, is it?

Long term, not at all. StoLotusan Color is very cost-effective and is likely to even save you money.

  • Walls stay cleaner and dryer for longer.
  • Maintenance cycles are around 2-3 times longer than a typical facade paint.
  • Reduced maintenance means reduced costs to refurbish the facade.

I've heard about similar "never-paint-again" products. Is StoLotusan Color one of these?

No. Claims of never needing to paint again are misleading at best. We make no such claims with StoLotusan Color.
