Celebrating over 25 years of Sto Ltd.

1981 In their capacity as consultants in a previous business, Andrew Swan and Iain MacDonald are introduced to the external wall insulation systems of Sto AG. The pair establish application company CCS Scotseal Ltd., importing Sto products into the UK.

1982 The first test installation is carried out for Glasgow District Council, followed by a number of projects for private, commercial and local authority clients.

1987 CCS Scotseal Ltd. secures a major contract with Glasgow District Council to insulate 728 houses. A formal partnership is agreed between CCS Scotseal Ltd. and Sto AG.

1997 In its capacity as a sales and distribution company, CCS Scotseal Ltd. pushes to increase the number of London projects, beginning with the opening of the Basingstoke office. The first image-building advertising campaigns appear.

1999 Part of the company is transferred to Sto AG, and CCS Scotseal Ltd. changes its name to Sto Ltd. A program of investment and growth is embarked upon. The Dublin office is opened following a major project in Ireland.

2004 Sto Ltd. becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sto AG.

2007 Following a period of expansion, the Wyboston office is opened to further aid technical enquiries.
