Sto-Turbofix

Sto-Turbofix is a single component, polyurethane based adhesive supplied in 10.4kg pressurised canisters. The material is dispensed using a pistol and hose, providing material on demand.

Developed from similar products available to the roof insulation market, this rapid, clean and cost-effective method of application greatly improves the application times of the StoTherm Classic and StoTherm Vario EPS external wall insulation systems.

• For use on Sto-EPS Board with the StoTherm Classic K or StoTherm Vario K adhesive fix systems.

• Rapid Application The pistol and hose unit included with Sto-Turbofix allow for the quick and easy application of adhesive on to tongue-and-groove EPS insulation boards. No materials need to be mixed on site and no tools require cleaning.
• Goes Much Further Sto-Turbofix excels in adhesion over traditional cement based adhesives. Each 10.4kg canister of Sto-Turbofix provides enough material to fix 50-70 m² of insulation, the equivalent of 9-12 sacks of cement based adhesive mortar.
• Easy to Handle Each 10.4kg canister is equivalent to approx. 270kg of cement based adhesive mortar, making it significantly easier and safer to move around on-site and on scaffolding.
• Quick Set Sto-Turbofix has an initial set time of 10 minutes and is cured within 2 hours, ready for overcoating – a significant time saving compared to 24-48 hours curing time for cement based mortars.
• Thermal Performance As a foam adhesive, the lambda values are reduced to 0.040, bringing Sto-Turbofix close to the insulating properties of the EPS boards.
